Washington County School System knows what it is like to have massive community support. They have many community partners and stakeholders that consistently assist them in any way possible. They know how lucky they are.
When they had the chance to give back, they couldn’t pass it up. Once Dr. Rickey Edmond heard that the local Physician’s offices were in need of cleaning supplies, the wheels were set in motion. “When I heard that the warriors in this community that are on the frontlines, needed something that we could provide-- I didn’t think twice,” the Superintendent stated.
The school system had supplies on hand. Boxes of cleaning and sanitizing materials were rounded up and given to various medical offices in town. The school system knows that it is a small contribution, but every little bit helps. “We need to remember that we are stronger together,” Dr. Edmond stated.
