Duties and responsibilities

Assists with the collection and data entry of student or administrative information

 

  • Communicate with other school systems to obtain/send studentrecords

  • Workwiththesystem’sDataInformationCoordinatortoreportStateandFederalReportsfor each Data CollectionCycle.

  • School level Student Information Systemresponsibilities:

    • Coordinate with System Registrar regarding enrollingstudents

    • Enter and update studentschedules

    • Update student informationdata

    • Process grade reports and permanent recorddata

    • Manage student attendance in Infinite Campus and reporttruancy

    • FTE datacollection

    • Verify Honor Roll and Merit Listinformation

    • Assist in maintaining student permanentrecords

    • End of the yearreports

    • Enter office disciplinereferrals

    • Manage various data reports for periodic review for school improvementprocess

  • Assistinimplementingfrontofficeresponsibilitiesandprocedurestosupportparents,staffand students

  • Other duties as assigned bysupervisor

 

Qualifications                                                                                            

 

Minimum Qualifications

 

  • A high schooldiploma

  • Aworkingknowledgeandconceptualunderstandingofkeysoftwarecomponentssuchasword processing, spreadsheets, anddatabases.

  • Musthavestronginterpersonalskillsinsupportingend-users(varyingdegreesofexpertise)in training or problem-solvingsituations.

  • Must be able to work independently, establish and maintain cooperative workingrelationships.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills areimperative.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • 3 years of experience of working with state reporting ofdata

  • An Associate’s degree in a computer relatedfield.

Salary Scale: 148

Duties and responsibilities

  • Conduct small group or individual classroom activities based on lesson plansdeveloped by theteacher

  • Helps with all aspects of the daily routine, including distributing and collectingsupplies, keeping attendance records, and grading quizzes asassigned.

  • Assists with the supervision ofstudents.

  • Follows the direction of the supervising teacher in offering one-on-one assistanceto students who need extrahelp.

  • Assists with student assessment, grading work and tests and collecting data on student progress.

  • Assist with routine recordkeeping

  • Assists with preparing materials for instruction (including copying/duplicatingmaterials, construction of displays/bulletin boards, learning centers, andmanipulatives).

  • Locates, operates, and returns neededequipment

  • Assists with classroomhousekeeping.

  • Accompanies class on field trips and assists the teacher as assigned.

  • Assists in ordering and inventorying of classroom equipment andmaterials.

  • Assists with school-wide supervision such as loading/unloadingbuses.

  • Participates in training programs to increase skills and proficiency related tothe assignment.

  • Performs other duties as requested by the principal or other appropriatesupervisor.

 

Qualifications

  • Complete 2 years of study at an institution of higher educationor

  • Possess an associate’s degreeor

  • Passed the State Paraprofessional GaceTest

 

  • Will be required to obtain certification as required by the ProfessionalStandards Commission

  • Experience in healthcarepreferred
